I'm finding the Acer Ferrari thread a brilliant example

People are asking 'which ram to buy' over and over and this has already been answered more than once within the thread :)

If we had the ability to make just that one post with the answer an 'important info' selection, it would be so easy for that member to review all their unanswered queries more efficiently :)

Could that not be solved by just updating the first post? So members only have to look there to find the important info?
#3
No one ever does most of the time

wont change anything as people will just go to end of thread and continually ask the same question

update the first post is the way forward

If you take a look at the main San francisco thread updating the OP is what they've done in that thread - probably the best and simplest option......

Cool

I'll just update the OP in future :)

raises a good point and would be solved with the ability to search a thread but as the normal search is next to useless I wouldn't hold my breath.

A long time ago the ability to search within a thread was suggested in Feeback - someone commented there is a way to do it in Firefox......

Yeh I've always thought of the search a tad bit rubbish

I have come accustomed to it now though and it has become better .......over time :)
