It would be an idea.

I think that is a good idea. Most people tend to want to know if a seller/buyer has been unscrupulous in the past, what happened and if they were at fault, and as the FS/FT/FO.LK sections grow, and therefore feedback, this will make things just a little easier, rather then scrawling through lots of feedback.

good idea michelle as people only really want to view comments on the negs

If members are thinking about trading with a member with a number of negs, then I think that they should look at the whole picture anyway.

well i would look at the whole of the feedback however just for ease of access it would be good

i agree. its the first thing I look at on ebay, and on here i scroll down to look at the negatives. it would make it easier for those with a lot of feedback.

Also how about being able to leave a response to feedback.

don't see that that is needed - if feedback is false then mods will remove it

Not always, i have a neg stating item not received when indeed it was. (albeit 2 weeks late)

i have pm'd the mods and so has the buyer apparently

However if you continually ignore/fail to update the thread then the other member is quite within their rights to leave negative feedback which reflects their view of the trade at that time. It serves the purpose of alerting others who may have been looking to trade with you.

Bottom line, if you list - be prepared to see the listing through to completion. Don't take the money and run, regardless of circumstances and expect all to be well when you sort matters upon returning.

Apologies to the OP for not picking up on this thread earlier. I'm always interested in that information if looking to trade. I'll pass the request on and see if it's possible for some time in the future.

yep left an honest positive comment,

I fully accept that the seller was in their right to leave a neg for the slow delivery, but to leave a comment which implies i "took the money and run" which is something i have never done seems a tad unfair,

but surely an update in a thread to say it was ventually sorted should be added, especially when it is asked to be done, also feedback left for wrong threads does not help (although the latter shouldnt happen now, but it has for old threads)

would also be good to see whether feedback is from a seller or buyer without having to go into thread

you are not the only one to have ask for this and be ignored, the thread should be updated, thats what they are there for
