guv
High screen res has zero to do with it. Maybe you have a virus on your machine.

it does, when I print screened it it takes a shot of the whole screen which is very big and the res is high.

do you try to nitpick at all my threads and try to get any little victory you can :|

guv
If you printscreen in whatever res you use it will fill the screen.

well I know first hand thats not true.

To be honest I thought it always showed an image that filled the screen too unless you change the settings or compress image

The pic is big as he has a high resolution, I'm gonna stick my neck on the line and say it's 1600 x 1200.

If he only had a screen resolution of 800 x 600 then the pic would've been smaller.

I thought you would have understood that guv?
#17
What's the size of the webpage got to do with it?

He said sorry for the big pic, because of his resolution.

You said it's got nothing to do with resolution.

It has! Because he has a res of 1600 x 1200 the pic he captured was 1600 x 1200. Therefore the pic appears big on most resolutions.

If I took a screen shot at 640 x 480 the pic would be small.

I give up if you don't understand that, suffice to say that bg is right.

I get it sometimes but after refreshing it works ok. I run Firefox.

To prove my point, here is a screenshot of my desktop, at 1024x768, notice the resolution of the picture is therefore the same? Notice the picture is alot smaller? Understand now?
#22
Try it yourself, take screenshots at different resolutions and see that the resulting picture is that resolution. ie a higher resolution will come out as a bigger picture.

guv
I fully understand what it means and I was referring to his printscreen on HIS machine and displaying on HIS machine. It doesnt matter what res your monitor is set at, the capture will fill HIS screen.
