I think we should ban members who want to ban filler items.

After all, it is members who are trying to help other members.

How about a compromise?

Lets have a filler item section!

Lets make another pointless thread to discuss.

As long as it clearly states filler item in the post - I don't see a problem. If ordering something and I need to add an item to get free postage, its very easy to use the filters on HUKD to get suggestions. Members still have their say in deciding whether its a good deal for that item by voting hot or code.

Thanks for the reminder though - there's one I'll post later..........

What help is it giving exactly? filler items change on a hour by hour basis price wise, so the actually usefulness is limited to possible as low as an hour. I repeat myself, but its true - are people really too stupid to either 1) look themselves or 2) use a site designed for the purpose (theres a site that just lists cheap amazon filler items).

This is a deals site, and filler items are very rarely deals.

Cannot find it, but there was a discussion in feedback 'bout this before.
Was mainly to do with amazon's sub £14.99 items when Amazon's free delivery threshold was £15.
Was the agreed decision from high that as long as "filler" was in the title, it is fair game

cant see the problem myself except that ALL items should include P&P (regardless of free delivery if you buy other stuff too).
