I know, Beside's the point you make a thread, for help etc , Then comes along the one's that spoil the threads, which then leads to problems within the thread,

It would also help moderators to an extent of not having to keep coming back these threads because of the one's that cause the problems, Also help innocent members also,

months back there was a thread that got bad, between two members " cyber bullying "

some will know what im talking about, if an option like that was there, it could may have prevented that happening.

you've put 2 threads up today about this.....walk away. The joke of the whole 'troll' thing is the people accusing others of being trolls are bigger trolls than their targets

I get mentioned by members every day but I dont put a thread up about it

The problem is while you can ignore such posters, others don't and it can quickly derail a thread as the bait is taken. Still I don't think the original suggestion of disabling access to threads by certain users is viable, instead I think it's best just to report any nonsense/inflammatory posts which may be removed and prevent further problems.

I see your point there ( in bold ) Where i said it would save time on the mods part by not having to come back and forth to that thread, If such a thing was implemented

As they have alot to do in the running of the forum, With enough to do already.

Anything to get rid of bullying on here is fine by me. It's only recently come to my attention and I'm shocked at the extent that some of it has gone to.

I would also like the option for a user prevent members on their ignore list from posting in their thread(s).

I'd go one step further & allow users to remove certain posts from their own threads... E.g. Removing posts in a FS/Trade Thread or help request in Misc to keep the thread on topic.

This suggestion has been asked for before, and I can confirm that it will never happen on HUKD.

Preventing members from posting on threads would lead to more bullying than it would prevent.

For the sensitive types, start your own site, and do it that way.
