I do understand why Mods lock threads down after an answer given (so there's no room for argument.) But in this instance, if I understood correctly the issue, then it really needs to be clarified a bit..... (and feedback is the place to ask!)

I'm guessing they lock them because some people turn them into misc. By adding nothing but crytiscism, rather then like your self actually asking for a response on something unclarified.

I don't get it either, this isn't clear - I don't like the Photobucket/Imageshack spamfests (especially the latter) so I don't use the sites and instead pay for an image hosting site. I don't see anything wrong with this and I actually trust it far more than Imageshack.

The site in question contained copies of threads that were in the process of being spammed (or subject to a probable spam). This link was then posted in another thread in an attempt to circumvent the initial spamming.


Are you saying pictures and links from personal hosting isnt allowed? Surely not?


Not at all, unless being used to evade rules and code of conduct.
