Hah I swear that wasn't there :) I guess maybe I stopped reading at the big white space.

Anyway - matt if you can go to Applications -> Utilities -> Network Utility -> click on tab Traceroute and put in http://www.mobot.net then paste the result here that would be great.

Yeah lol, i straight copied and pasted from firefox, so a mass of white space.

I left the traceroute going while i had dinner and it seems to get stuck while going into (this/that sites?) datacentre.

Weird if im the only one with a problem then. (unless my IP's been banned by them!)

and by your method i get

"Traceroute has started…

traceroute: unknown host http://www.mobot.net"
[admin]#8
Checking with the data centre to see if anything is up with their routing. Thanks for that info!

Some can't login either
[admin]#10
A few more questions... Do you have a router/firewall and if so, what make/model number is it. Also, if so can you try bypassing the firewall by plugging straight into the connection and try again?

I might try it later, but that will cause too much trouble for other people in my family.

Router is D-Link DIR 655

Do you have a dedicated IP for the website I can try?

Website doesn't work on a Windows 7 PC on my network either. Hasn't worked since it was launched tbh.

Can you try turning off the SPI firewall momentarily on the router? That's a known cause of non-connection to some urls.
#13
I have exactly the same problem, will not work at home, with or without firewall. (Virgin media)

Router is also a D-link DIR 635

Also will not work on iPhone (Tesco mobile)

You tried turning off the SPI firewall p-e-t-e? That was my best guess as to the culprit at this point.

Yes, makes no difference, can't even get to it on my iPhone over Tesco mobile (not connected to router)
