How did you find that Phil?
Were you searching for a certain retired Brazilian footballer? ;)
The text in the search results are obfuscated as expected, but perhaps this is a useful feature to search for all the threads where the kids hang out so you can avoid them :)
Also, imagine how quiet the "Feedback" Forum would be if the (normal & Advanced) Search facility worked.
For example, note the date when this thread was created:

I found it by chance last night looking at the touchpadless peoples thread and Amazon had released some for sale just before 3 a.m.
Someone missed out and posted the f wored with "ed", I think, on the end and I just happened to see it on that page, I don't read every page of that thread by a long shot.
So I started looking for others.
Something rings a bell in the back of my mind that that the swear filter has never worked on the op.
Edit, I'm not into football so the Brazilian footballer remark has gone right over my head.

Me neither. I just knew of the surname that (if I quote will be filtered but) begins with "F" & ends with "s".
He never played for Clitheroe or Scunthorpe as far as I am aware.

I can't wait for the next super duper thing that is taking all the developer's time rather than get rid of the effing and blinding that is still on this site after having it brought to the attention of someone who is supposedly in charge.

Thanks for getting back to me Juliet_B. I now know I can take what you say with a pinch of salt.
Hmmm, can't remember what I put that needed modding, perhaps I should post some of these deals again as it is obviously OK to do so, even with all the swearing.
Although I have noticed one of the "C" word posts has gone, shame someone couldn't spend an hour or so and get rid of all the other offensive posts, some of which were done by mods.
