if a deal expires it should be expired (_;)

any reasons why not?

If the item sells out or the price suddenly jumps up as a lot of Amazon deals can, then if you're on your own thread you can easily expire it,surely it's self explanatory why you would want to expire it oO

OPs would expire perfectly valid albeit rubbish deals just to avoid a cold bashing.

If your deals genuinely are expired but nobody else thinks to expire them you can just use the report button, no need to open the system up to abuse.

not too sure it would open the system to abuse. surely it makes sense that mods/helpers deal with the odd occasional deal that has to be unexpired rather than lots of deals that need to be expired through the report button.

So it's nothing to do with it being your "own" deal then.

I'm talking about if i post a deal and it sells out or jumps up in price it would be helpful if i could expire it myself,am i speaking,or in this case typing in tongues :|

Most deals (even some of the very hotest) are voted cold at the start. A noob will see his/her deal being voted cold and might decide to expire so I'm not sure this is a good idea.....

It should be upto a user if they want to expire their own deal, but i can see why Admin wouldn't want them to X)
