Hi sassie, if you can prove that they are genuine/original UK retail cartridges ( eg they have the nintendo seal on the game label & you find listings for same game from other UK retailers etc) then yes you can list, but only if you can show that they definitely aren't copies. Thanks

Multi game carts with high numbers of games on them are always pirates/illegal/fakes. You probably won't get in trouble selling them here but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy them as they're unreliable and also often don't actually contain 100 games.

No this doesn't gurantee it's genuine. Pirates often put the Nintendo seal of quality on the labels of their fake games. There's other ways to tell,
The label is the first, does it have the proper artwork on the label? (try to find a real version in google images to compare)
Was the label applied neatly and accurately? if not then it's almost definately a fake.
Is there digits above the contacts on the bottom of the cart? (you'll need a torch, if so it should be a geniune game but not always)
etc

thank you for the info, i will not be selling them

but now seriously thinking of pulling all the games i have put up, as i would have no idea if they could be genuine or not, they are years old and i wouldnt have a clue where we got them from, could single game cartridges be fake?

Yes quite easily unfortunately.
If you were able to get a close up picture of the cartridge fronts I could tell whether they are likely to be fake or not :)

Hi Sassie :)
It's a bit of a minefield as Ouenben is implying. If you have bought your games from a High St retailer or the likes of Amazon, Play etc then you can be reasonably confident they are legit.
Anywhere else and you either take your chances or swat up on how to tell a fake. I would hate to think how many fake games are/were around.

The Nintendo Multi Games, as already stated, are always fakes, at one stage you could buy them at most markets and car boots. The fakes to watch out now for are DS games. If you Google something like "how to spot a fake DS game" you should get links to enable you to see how it's done.

For instance the following is a guide to spotting them on You Tube:

If you want to know about yours specific and you can't find out via Google just post on here, I'm sure someone will help you immediately and of course I'll always help if I can.
