This is an ebay sellers site, which we do not allow on the forums
Unfortunately 2nd time its happened. (soz.. I don't find many deals in my travel)
First time I posted a deal (for ThaneDirect), was pulled by Emma as she believed I was working for them.
2nd time I posted a deal for digidave, it got pulled with the above message.
So, long story short, I posted the deal about digidave as it was available from a dropdown list in the "merchants".
If this is the case, i.e. ebay sellers deals are not allowed (which I understand) then how can a user such as myself identify this. Ofcourse the obvious one would be that forum staff pull that deal, but coming from a members perspective, this is rather rude as you post in good faith only to be humilated (well, that's what I felt)
I further quote emma's post..
"http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/145906/newcomers-advice-on-hotukdeals-gene/showpost.php?p=1580403&postcount=2" where she mentions
"Anybody can post information about what they think is a Hot Deal, as long as you are registered with the site (free to register , and only takes a minute) you can post deals, be it something available online, only available for purchase in store, or both. The idea is to create a community sharing deals with one another, so we can all grab a bargain"
I believe this was a bargain, be it an ebay seller or not.. why not let members make up their minds.
Sorry, I am not having a go at staff, but I really would like to have an honest answer about what can be posted and what cannot and if something can be posted, how is the end user able to identify its true what they are posting without facing humilation, degradation and utterly wound up about about the whole issue.. after all.. I quote.. "create a community sharing deals with one another, so we can all grab a bargain"
