I think this rule is pretty clear:

(19) If a thread is closed or removed from the FS forum at any time, the same items or thread will not be allowed back until at least a period of one week has passed from the date of closure. Those same items also cannot be listed or offered in other active threads.

But if you have any suggestions on improvements, then we're all ears.

i am referring to the expired threads, the open threads, the ones that havent had a post in for weeks but are still running

removal of the expired button form the fs board, making it clearer in the fs rules that you cannot relist any item unless it has been locked and 7 days have passed?

If the thread hasn't been locked then they should continue things in that thread.

I know that, you know that, but it aint us that keeps chuffin relisting the items, they who are think that if a week has passed since someone posted in it, a week has passed since they posted it, a week since they said good morning to the milkman, etc,etc it is ok to relist the same item:x

Heh, which is why we give them warnings/suspensions. :)

Chuffin trouble makers.

I have had numerous emails, pm's from people asking why they have been suspended or their threads locked

do people think you are a mod or something? Why would people pm you about it?

I am referring to expired posts, threads that are on the boards that havent been locked, expired but are months old etc, members that hit the expire button and this that is the closure of their thread, shall i go on

sassie, those rules aren't the same ones Emma quoted:

(19) If a thread is closed or removed from the FS forum at any time, the same items or thread will not be allowed back until at least a period of one week has passed from the date of closure. Those same items also cannot be listed or offered in other active threads.

just seemed weird that someone gets numerous pm's about why others are suspended and stuff, when the person they are pm'ing isn't a mod - surely pming someone who may have suspended them would be better?
Wasn't getting at you sassie, just couldn't get my head round why loads of people would do it

It's better but I think it will still a little confusing, as it seems to only refer to threads that have been "expired, closed or removed" by the Mods. It doesn't cover people relisting items from threads that may currently still be active. :?

The problem is knowing when the thread was expired, also even though expired it is actually still in an open thread, also members think hitting expired actually expires it which doesnt happen, so maybe just a but this doesnt cover the expired

(19) An item can only be listed in one fs thread, unless it has been locked or removed then you need to wait 7 days from it being locked/removed before relisting
