I kinda agree with you and also dont agree . Sky player is not free as you need to be a sky member . Meaning you are paying for the service and not getting it free . Unlike bbc iplayer . Yes every1 has to buy a tv license. But bbc are giving you the chance to watch some movies for free without a subscripton . Sorry if there is any spelling mistakes . Im on my iphone

Um they are not letting you watch without a tv license as according to their terms you need a tv license to use iplayer.

Also if you have a subscription then sky player is a freebie and thus i could post in freebie section and just put a nb stating a sky subscription is a pre requisite, thus free to sky subscribers

Have just done an advanced search in freebies for bbc and spammed what seemed to be, well, spam......guess if they do come back as post above this, then the mod team deem them acceptable and we cannot complain.

Let's see what happens

Can't see a prob with a freebie being in the freebies section......If blockbuster were doing a free rental of it on DVD no doubt the same people moaning would be voting that deal hot. What's the difference?? << Put that in the thread, but it appears to have been spammed

EDIT
Threads back. Have reported for mod clarification, hopefully we will get an answer in this thread

Sorry, but you`re completely wrong there. The BBC are letting you watch without a licence, so long as you are not watching the programmes `Live`.

You do not need a television licence to catch-up on television programmes in BBC iPlayer, only when you watch or record at the same time (or virtually the same time) as it is being broadcast or otherwise distributed to the public.
