This was the offending comment that refused to post. I went through it and couldn't see any hidden expletives or words that might lead to the post going to moderation.

And this is what I got in my notifications.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Hey deeky - there was a blacklisted word in your comment which is why it went for moderation. It was approved pretty much right away though.

Thanks MJ. I don't suppose you could pm me the blacklisted word so I can look out in future?
It wasn't 'poo' was it X) (in Poolman :|)

But why wasn't I notified, thus avoiding duplicate posts?

I'll have a look at the comment in a sec.

There would have been a message below the comment box advising you that it went to moderation.

I'm pretty sure there wasn't, otherwise I wouldn't have posted it again. I'll try it here to see if I do get a message.

You can win your case with the CAA but the airline can still refuse to pay out and they can't enforce it, so it may not be worth it anyway.
You may find employing a legal firm is the only way forward. Yes, they'll take 30% but they have the expertise.
Currently fighting with Norwegian Airways over a cancelled flight. For info, most airlines will now claim 'extraordinary circumstances' to try and avoid compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 but simply 'going tech' isn't classed as this anymore.

You're right, but according to the article, decisions made by the CEDR service under the new system ARE legally binding. That's about the only good thing I can see about this.

Nope, no message. This is after I copied and pasted the original offending post. I checked the top of the page as well in case it tried to trick me.

I just got the notification a few minutes later that it had gone live (as you can see above ^^)

If I had been getting that message it wouldn't have been so bad but I was seeing nothing, except the post apparently not posting.

Sometimes there is a hidden blacklisted word in your post. It might be a few letters in the middle of the word, possibly a banned retailer or something. The filter picks that up and sends it to moderation to make sure the offending retailer isn't sneaking in X)

This is still happening. This post went to moderation, and still no message to say so.

Do you run a pop up blocker of some sort deeky? The message saying comment is in moderation might be a modal which you're not getting (but seeing the notification once activated).

Whats the RPM at 2mph?
This is the method i use, can't be bothered to work it out for you. :pRPM with one-step arithmetic.
Step 1
Measure the radius of the wheel that receives power from the pedals. Radius is measured from the center of the wheel to its outside edge.
Step 2
Multiply the radius of the wheel by 6.28 to calculate the circumference of the wheel. This is the distance your bike covers in one revolution.
Step 3
Divide 1056 by the circumference of the wheel. The quotient is your bike's conversion factor for moving directly between MPH and RPM.
Step 4
Convert MPH into RPM by multiplying any MPH reading and the conversion factor. Inversely, MPH is the quotient of RPM divided by the conversion factor

Yeah, that's the way I always do it. Remember it from primary school.
