Maybe they don't like aftershave? How longs a piece of string
#2
i agree people should just add a note to say why they vote cold, in a nice way and not liking the aftershave isnt a good reason is it??
#3
Might not be a good reason (in your opinion) but it is a reason. I love threads where people vote cold and explain. £2 chicken anybody?
#4
i didnt but i think these free bits are a waste of paper. you get anough junk mail as it is
#5
You have to remember a lot of the time people vote cold on a deal from the main page so never even come in the actual thread to even think about leaving a comment.
#6
This has been going on for ages. and anyways when people do give there reasons why they vote it cold, someone starts an argument off. which is fun but maybe its the reson why most cold voters dont give a reason

Exactly. You can almost guarantee that somebody will disagree with any reason you have for not thinking a deals hot

By the way, this belongs in Misc as it's not really a site issue as such. Voted cold for posting in the wrong place.....

i second that remark;-)

You could equally say that everyone should comment when voting hot; I've seen deals reach quite a temperature before some kind soul points out the negative reviews on the product or shows it's cheaper elsewhere...

Totally agree, thread starters only moan when they get voted cold. It doesn't seem to bother them when it rises, so double standards indeed :whistling:

shengis- i just mean that if you dont like the product(aftershave) then Its is like when Bristoldeal votes cold for every tesco product.

Sometimes you flick through all the deals and see an items that you dont know much about but are interested in it but it is voted cold and because you dont know much about the item then it is soetimes nice to have an idea of why

Agree entirely.

It has been discussed a lot - not to say that it shouldn't be again but you can see Admin's opinion in this thread.

if your really interested in that certain item then members do ask why its cold or hot or for mre information and get an honest answer! The system does work 99.7% of the time

Not really. Voting hot basically means that you agree with the OP's premise that it is a hot deal at the price specified. Voting cold means that you disagree.

If you agree with the premise, then as it's already spelt out in the OP, there's nothing much more to say. If you disagree however, then that must mean you know something the OP doesn't, and as that information isn't contained within the thread, it would therefor be helpful to share that knowledge so that others can make a more educated choice, .

Looking at it again, that's a very fair interpretation.
