With the BEKO/MH100 scam and people going on witch hunts for every new site that now gets mentioned, would it be a good idea to have a sticky with the pros and cons of different payment methods and how best to protect yourself in internet commerce, details on DSR's, how and IF you are actually protected etc?

Point me in the direction of these "witch hunts" please :)

Heres one to start you off : http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1259732

Of course I do have a suspicion you only posted to provoke me, but that's neither here nor there:giggle: ;-)

At the end of the day, whether a site is legit or not, it seems that way too few people actually know what rights/protections if any they actually have hence the suggestion. Not that anybody would bother to actually read it if it was a sticky....

LOL Well actually I thought it was you provoking me so I'll apologise

Folks are going to be suspicous at present and to be honest I think witch hunt was a bit strong but that's by the by. The best part of this site is people helping each other out and long may it continue but of course that will bring some problems now and again and even the odd bit of friction :)

As for your last paragraph I completely agree with you. And again you are right when you say that few if any would read a sticky. Catch 22.

Take care

Fair do's, witch hunt is a bit strong, just a figure of speech, you have to remember I am a modern day Alf Garnett:giggle:

And having read the other forum, yes it does seem to be the same seller. I only queried it because I used to be a regular on the Ebay Q&A boards and saw quite a few accounts wrecked because people posted false user names out of spite or by mistake:thumbsup:

Agreed and totally understood, been in that jungle before, was lucky to get out alive. Look what it's done to Dino :giggle: (smile Steve :) )
