That's not permitted. They still form part of the same section, although a different way to 'get there'.

You will have to wait 7 days. I would however advise listing on fo.lk instead of HUKD in the future, as it gives a better control over your listings (Images/locations/etc)

im totaly confused with this folk & fs/ft thing at the mo as there is too much going on with it, regarding the competition, i thought you had to abide by the rules for both of them.

You were only saved by the misinterpretation of some due to the fo.lk competition and we decided to take a less than formal interpretation of the rules for a few listings yesterday. Normal circumstances would have dictated the thread remains locked for 7 days if changing the price after an offer has been made.

are the FS/FT rules the same as FOLK its entirety?

as i thought that FOLK was being brought in as FS/FT was getting too big and that the rules would be altered/relaxed. Especially with regards to things like promotional items and things without standard RRPs?

for example I have a 1month XBL Gold card that for somereason has been outlawed from sale in FS/FT, am i allowed to list this on FOLK?

I believe there was some common sense applied to those who were listing for the sake of the competition, and falling foul of the 'three bump rule'. However, those who are breaching the rules 'knowingly' were still penalised. However, today is a new day and any rule breaks appear to be subject to the standard policy. I think there was only one thread given a repreave, but the original was closed

The rules on fo.lk are the same.

The reason for a new section was to allow more flexibility in the style of listings, not the content

EDIT: It does seem that a review of the rules is happening: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/632479/shouldn-t-a-special-page-be-made-a-/showpost.php?p=8104436&postcount=16

That wasn't the way the new things (Read: FO.LK) were being sold in the various threads questioning the draconian rules in the FS/FT.

I can only really go on my opinion and not the 'party line' as such, but the flexibility a seperate site brings was the reason.

The draconian rules are there to protect people, not to make things difficult. I've broken them once by accident and been punished, but have had a very successful history of buying and selling things whilst adhering to them.

They are only rubbish if you don't follow them :)

As the 2 sites are linked, there is a common set of rules at present. The current syncing mechanism between fo.lk and hukd fs/ft, during this transitional period, requires us to ensure current fs/ft rules are adhered to. It might appear disjointed at the moment, but we are actively reviewing this in order to bring about a simpler and better trading experience to all. Please try to bear with us as we evolve.

I do my best to follow them but have broken them a few time from different interpretations of the rules and forgetting i had a Really old thread open, and opening another, my fault i know, but an obvious oversight rather than an attempt to infringe that lead to a 3 day suspension o_O.

But questions answered, Ta very much!

surely for something like that, how about a gentle reminder, rather then a full blown 3 day suspension ! sounds a bit harsh to me, i know there are rules, but sometimes you can achive a lot more by reminding the seller of where/what they have done wrong.

You get a gentle reminder on your first rule break
