Though I never use the FS/FT forum personally, its not unnoticed that feedback and Misc often has posts regarding problems, which are quite often the result of not following the guidlines laid out.
Dunno if this has been implimented (so appolgies in advance if it has), but just had a thought which may be beneficial.
When a member makes a post, how about a final form agreeing to things which they can and cant do (as a simple list), which they have to agree to before posting. Rather than a general "you agree to the terms and conditions for posting in this forum.
sell goods you dont own
Sell goods over the RRP
only trade on the board (not via PM)
You have only 2 bumps - threads will be locked and you will be suspended if you dont comply)
Yes I know people will still possibly ignore and post anyway - but at least they cant claim "they never knew" A nice easy to read list (with a link to further details) is easier on the eye to read - is more likely to be read IMHO.
Or alternatively, an automated Mod post that is generated as post number 2 in any FS thread, that states the above. Ok its an aditional post - but a worthwhile one.
Like I said, I dont use that forum, but think the suggestions are worth looking at.
