As I have explained by PM, I'll re-post it here:

Many thanks for the reply. We check out all new sites from new members. I'll not be returning the post to the forum as it is a pre-requisite that a site has a full address and phone number in their contact details, and there does not appear to be here.

Welcome to HUKD !

Regards, Emma
And

For a site not to include it's address either in the "contact us" or "about us" section does not seem very professional. Additionally, when a company seems to be registered in a residential housing area, again, this would not be appropriate for HUKD.

3. They looked it up on google maps and the registered address looks to be residential ! Guess that means the majority of eBay home run stores are completely unprofessional as well.

P.S. We do not allow ebay stores on HUKD either.

Apart from you previous post just repeating what I have already said you have said : My point is that I think some of your rules are a bit bonkers and it sounds like you limit the types of companies the community members can post on. Preferring large corporates over possible smaller organisations that are none the less offering a good product and customer service. The rules you have mentioned do by default exclude a vast range of businesses. Possibly mosthotukdeals would be a more fitting title. Some of your reasons seem to be a little power hungry rather than letting the community decide.

Ok. I have repeated everything as that is the code of conduct that we follow in this forum. These are the general guidelines that we follow.

Time and time again we have seen new members post deals for new companies, which we check out, then they come in here to the feedback forum, complain a bit, and we discover that they are connected to the company.

I'm not even going to get into the fact that the organisation in question seems to have the same VAT number as another company which disappeared off the net recently and left a few people in the lurch, from the looks of a google search. Yet another reason why we would not allow deals for it here.

I'll ask again, do you have a connection to the company?
#5
Whether the company is self promoted here or not, we can't allow an "eBay business" as you have correctly described it here unless we know the reliability of that business and how well it operates...
#6
No I'm not, as previously stated.

My issue is not with just the particular submission I made but the set of rules you follow. Plenty more other similar sites to HUKD are far more open.

I guess you have your reasons to operate in this way and will agree to disagree.

We have already established that the VAT number of this company is the same as one which recently went bust. This doesn't suggest that it's a safe company to deal with.

Hmmm no phone number, residential address, unknown company, VAT number same as previous bankrupt company, upset newly joined member.... and you think the mods are bonkers to pull the listing?

100% behind the mods on this one - and thanks to them for checking.
Good deals are no good if you can't get the goods!
