BACS is the "other thing". It is an automatic transfer in to your bank account.

They ask for your:

sort code

account number

account name (your name)
In that order - if you have a bank account anywhere, at any bank, you should be able to do this ok.

Thankyou Emma, will leave it for Emms to sort out tomorrow.

This is the reputation http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/reputation.gif button [on the left, under your ID], that replaced the karma system from the old forum :)

Do, I now wait for the money to go into my Quidco account?.
Or do I have to do something?.
Sorry for my ignorance. I am still learning.
When I was a child, we used abacuses. Even calculators wern`t in vogue.
I am only on here because my son gave me his old computer. I am sorry if I sound a dim wit, but I am.

Well, you now need to wait for the insurance company to send/pay the cashback to your QuidCo account. It can take around three months for some companies to pay out unfortunately.

No you're not a dim wit  we all have to start somewhere and great that your son has given you the opportunity to get online :)

We welcome everyone here. We don't mind helping. Some users, not many here though, do 'bite your head off' at first but most sites are full of good people.

As Rayman said, you aren't a dim wit. You've just started learning. Even we don't know everything... and in my opinion the more people who learn how to use a PC the better. They can do so many things, including saving money!! I couldn't ever live without one ever again.

Oh, and I like the avatar. (Darn, I can't go a single post without using a smiley, lol)

I love your Avatar, it took me ages and a lot of help to get mine and I've been 'computing' for years.
What insurance company did you use?
I don't think you don't need to open a Paypal account to make a single payment.

I think it's strange that the insurance company only offered Paypal and Bank Transfer. Anybody else agree?

Susan meant QuidCo payments.

You're far from a dim wit susan emily, you're just trying out something new and you'll learn along the way (i'm still learning).

I joined this site about a year ago and didnt have a clue about posting links/deals/images etc ... different people on here helped me out so if you ever need to know anything just ask :)

I went through the Prudential link thing from quid co, that was mentioned on here.
They have already saved my daughter £70 and when she gets the £100 back, that will be a whopping £170.

Did the same for a ralative and it was immediately £110 cheaper plus the £100 cashback to eventually be put in their QuidCo account, saving them £210... Unbelievable :) Just hope the Prudential tracks it all okay.
