If a deal is no longer valid then hit the expire button and when enough people hit it, it will then 'expire' but you can't close them to comments.

As for likes............can't be removed.

Cheers for that.

I have in "Deals/Activity" 4 posts where I was asking for something. They are not deals at all, would like to remove them as I have Expired them, can this be done then?

Not usually - the only people that can remove threads are Mods (unless a thread is spammed but thats slightly different).

If you asked a question in Misc and you got a satisfactory response then you don't have to worry about removing it. Threads that are inactive (ie no-one is posting in them) quickly dissappear as they become older so they won't bother anyone. Also you may find that in a couple of months another member may have the same question or issue and they may find your old thread helpful..... so normally threads are not removed.
