  How is it rude that statement, it's a fact, and it's text. If it was rude I would of called you a name or belittled you.
  
  Think someone needs to take a step back and realise that some people arn't going to respond the way you like.
  
  I gave you a means of contact 'helpful advice'
  
  If you searched there was a thread a month back regarding this subject.
  
  Admin has now been brought into this thread and he will sort you out.

  What I meant by rude is the context it is written, if you had said, "hi, this is a regular thread here" it is far more friendly way than a blunt "done to death" put down, I appreciate the contacting comments and what happens etc
  
  I find a lot of the posts on this site are now too comfortable for some in the way its communicated, would you walk up to a stranger in the street and say things in the same way.

  No we wouldn't but this is a THREAD, not real life. Don't think the same are the two neither can they be compared, I think you have now got yourself into a position where you take little offence at everything posted. If you can't handle that then I would suggest staying far away from a lot of forum based websites as well as chat rooms and anything that is text based reply.
  
  If you want a honest response I would say you need to lighten up a bit if you do not like the responses you can report them, if they are in breach of forum rules they will be removed, I would also stop tarnishing everyone with the same brush, and ask for this thread to be locked, and use the contact us method at the bottom of the page.
  
  You do not want to remove your ID or Ban it if you actually value the information or deals based here or freedom of the FS/FT, competitions base or Freebies section.

  if UKHD has been set as your home page, then you can remove it from your browser...Tools button - Internet options.
  
  You can also delete any icons on your desktop and delete it from your favourites.

  I made an observation that some of the forum posts I have read over the 3 years I have been with HUKD becoming deviations of what was being discussed and somewhat personal. I said I was getting fed up with this element, I appreciate you can raise a report etc, and HUKD ethos is great, and am grateful to the posters over the time. Please dont tell me to lighten up as though you have some higher moral highground over me.

  It's text still? Think your missing the point it isn't face to face contact (emoticons) and rude words make it emotionally or the opposite.
  
  Basic manners have nothing to do with anything in Misc, where I am assuming is the place you became offended, and now on here from stating the facts.

  I don't think its a problem limited to this site - you look at any popular forums MSE, AVForums and you'll probably see exactly the same kind of thing, petty squables, arguments, on-going feuds. In a way it does reflect real life as you probably see the same kind of thing going on in most workplaces. Its amplified on the internet forums because of the anonymity of the posters. I'm afraid you just have to accept it, develop a thicker skin and ignore the threads that annoy you......

  Thanks chaps, strangely it all started from a wholly inoccuous question on the main deals about the item and was shot down for asking a simple question. I have very thick skin I can assure you, but sometimes, just sometimes, it would be nice just to have a bit of courtesy you know? Would the post have been removed, probably not, wasnt swearing - just uncalled for rudeness, cant paint it any other way, and I thought - well, stuff it! I can still view deals anon, just not add any contributing comments.
