Do you mean how do you find a list of all posts you've made?

Now i'm on a roll.... Can we have the function back that says : Find all post by XXXXXX rather than the new Find all topics that XXXXX has posted in (guessing that's what the OP means):p

I mean exactly what Shengis is referring to. I can see the deals I've added, but not my comments on other poster's deals.

1. click on advanced next to the search button
2. on the page that opens there is a box about four lines down that has the title by member. enter your user id in her
3. check that the drop down box below it says threads with post by users
4. click on search now at the bottom of the screen

That's not what we're asking for though, what you describe gives exactly the same results as clicking on your user name, then view public profile followed by Find all threads containing posts by XXXX. It only lists the OP of the thread NOT the posts you've made and are actually searching for as it did in the old board. Now imagine if you wanted to find a specific post in for example the BEKO thread..... Good luck, you'll have to actually read EVERY page until you find it.

so the new one click jump to a forum has turned into a bleedin feast, unless all you want to do is jump between forums you are fine, anything other than that you have to click here, then scroll and click there, then change the view to see it in this way and finally click here to see it any of the three ways, yeah got to agree super speedy way of getting round - NOT

Why am I hearing a deafening silence from Admin? Surely it is not impoosible to reinstate the feature! I used to enjoy the banter over good and not-so-good deals.

A real world application. Vibeone started a thread the other day about a petition. I noticed today he had changed his mind about it for some reason. Now, with the old search for posts by user function I would have gone to his page and hit it to see if he had posted a reason. As it stands, if I wanted to do that now I would have to trawl through EVERY thread by hand that he had posted in, in search of his contributions, taking loads of my time, and just on the offchance he HAD actually made a comment as to why.

Damn it's hard work being nosy these days

Also the old way of doing things was good for instantly detecting trolls, based on previous postings
