I set my options to subscribe to any thread I post in. You can set it up to receive alert emails but I don't. The I just look at my control panel and it shows all the threads that have new posts in that I previously posted in, since I last visited.

[Edit]
I see them in my Control Panel like this:

With the volume of posts on our forums, it might be worth using thread subscriptions to keep track of what threads you are active in. To make sure they are turned on, go to your control panel from the link at the top right of the page, and click “edit options”. There are a few things in here you can mess about with, but if you want to subscribe to all threads you post in, make sure that the “Default Thread Subscription Mode” is not at “do not subscribe”. Mine is set to “no email notification” for example.

Now, any thread you make a reply in, will be listed in your thread subscriptions, which you can access from your control panel.

Alternatively, you can subscribe to a thread by click the “thread tools” menu at the top of each and every thread, and select “subscribe to this thread”.

Emma, I have a question related to subscriptions but I don't want to make a whole new thread for it.

Although I've set my options to automatically subscribe, when I create a thread, it doesn't automatically subscribe and I have to do it manually. Have you noticed this?

It doesn't automatically suscribe you when you are the OP in a thread , only when you post in a thread . :)

Yep, has always been that way. Same on one or two other forums I have came across... :)

This is actually the first forum I've come across where it doesn't auto subscribe OP's! lol

Let's not forget the "Your Recent Activity" box on the right of the forum, showing the last 10 threads you posted in...
