How To Post and Host Images For Thread Submissions, Comments & Replies
WARNING: If you use the original website's domain image location, web address or URL, they have been known to change and display pornography or spam images. That's why it's always in your best interest to save the image you want to your computer and then to host it on a trusted image hosting site.
1) Very Important Note: Firstly because of hot linking, bandwidth, copyright issues and images possibly being changed by the original hosts, please make sure you are saving the correct image to your desktop and before hosting them on another website.
Once the image is on your computer, you'll need to use a free hosting site, such as: http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.tinypic.com/ or http://www.imageshack.us to upload and host them on.
Browse your desktop or folders for the image you want to upload to one of those sites, then click "Upload".
Once that's completed, a URL or web address will automatically be created for you to copy and paste in the forum as above 'Direct Link' for deal submissions or 'IMG Code' for forum thread replies.
Please note that for sale forum pictures must be of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo and must also display your username and the date.
For a more detailed 'How To Post Images' please click on the 'Discuss' button below.
Feel free to add any other helpful tips as thread replies, thanks.

2) Saving An Image: If you're going to use an image from another website, hover your mouse pointer over the image you want to show, right click over it and choose 'Save Image As' in FireFox of 'Save Picture As' in Internet Explorer, then save it to your desktop or to a folder where you can easily find it again later for uploading.
3) Posting An Image When Submitting A Deal: In the 'Link To Image File' field for the Hot Deals, Freebies, Competitions and For Sale or Trade forums: Byhovering your mouse pointer over the image and right clicking, choose either 'Properties' at the bottom of the right click menu in Internet Explorer or 'Copy Image Location' in FireFox or 'Properties' in Internet Explorer, you need to highlight the image Address or URL completely and copy it by right clicking over it once it's all been highlighted. FireFox is easier, as you only need to click on "Copy Image Location".
a) Paste the copied URL in to the 'Link To Image File' for deal submissions
b) For forum thread replies and posts, paste the link in using the IMAGE button as below.
Image Hosting Sites
Whichever image hosting site you use you'll find other edit options, to resize or crop your images for example.
Some allow you to paste in the web address of images directly without you having to save them to your computer.
You'll soon find them quite easy to use, please remember to check that you have them set to 'private' if you don't want all your images showing up.

(Here is one)

Can I put them all on the same ad, separated by a comma, or am I posting the wrong code?
S-O-R-R-Y for being blonde!

I am not sure about the comma, but you have used the correct code.
Just copy the codes one by one, and paste them into a reply box on HUKD.
You can see what your post will look like before you submit it by selecting "Preview Post" or "Go Advanced" depending on which reply box you have used.
Like this:
http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8130/...eansfronty.jpg
http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8130/...eansfronty2.jpg
http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8130/...eansfronty3.jpg
obviously replacing the web addresses with the correct one.
I much prefer that to embedding huge images etc.
You need to use the report button in the thread to let mods know.
Yes, exactly the same way you post a normal image. :)
One/more comment(s) was/were removed for self-promoting your own site, I believe.
As you can still post comments (as seen above) then just follow the instructions at the top of this thread.

There is a lot to be gained from site/organisation growth, but if this is too quick for available resources, &/or without the ongoing support of existing underlying infrastructure, the core benefits are diluted & the user (customer) experience is diminished beyond recognition"
Some nice moaning from FP there in feedback "
