I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place, so here we go anyway.
I think the heat rating on deals is a great idea, especially with the little chart on the right showing the hottest deals of the day, last 3 days, last week etc.
However, sometimes there will be a deal that is fantastic. For example, a new game that is only £18 brand new is excellent, but if it's only available in 1 shop then it's of little use to most people. Also, there may be a deal where something is 20,000 quid, reducred to £5,000 which is also an amazing deal, but probably of little use to most of us.
So what I was thinking is, wouldn't it be good if there was a way to click on a deal to indicate that you had actually purchased that deal, or taken advantage of that bargain. Then you could have a list of the most popular deals based on people actually buying the things. I think that would more useful.
I think the heat rating should stay as well, as it's two different but equally useful ways to rate and identify great deals.
