LOL ...bored?

Nope. the feature has been requested previously but there's been no official response on it or at least no indication it will ever be implemented. It would be a useful feature to have as the usefulness of the ignore list is limited.

asked for a few times but just ignored by mods/

This would be the best new feature imho

And what makes you convinced it HASN'T been implimented?

Seems to be working quite well in feedback, don't ya think?

what are you on about?

I still see peoples' threads who are on my IGNORE list. Isnt that the whole topic of this thread?

£44K pa - what are you on about?

No good complaining, there are still decent jobs to be had. See if he above can give you a job.

good to see my ignore thread is being ignored by the powers that be
#10
i'd like this too, plus not to see those on my ignore list even if they are quoted, very annoying
[mod]#11
This would be a welcome addition as at the moment it doesn't really work.

I have enough self control to ignore if i choose however. But still, would be nice. :)

another thing that would be good is that anyone on your ignore list couldnt post in a thread you started

i think it would be an excellant move and stop alot of work for the mods, and yes people would know they are on your ignore list, but really not a big deal is it
[mod]#16
I'd just end up talking to myself.

How about people develop an internal 'ignore list'.

It could be applied to the world beyond HUKD too. It might seem tough at first but if you see something that you don't like, or something from someone you don't like, walk on by.

Don't click on the link, ignore the post count and how much fun is being had in said thread and look at something else.

That wouldn't be a good thing at all. Its a FORUM. If you wan't to be able to dictate who can and cannot read/reply to your conversation, use private messaging/msn/somewhere else!

This idea of thread 'ownership' is one of the worst things to happen here in the last few months. The whole point of a forum is it is public and open and any member can chip in with their thoughts - whether they are in line with the OP or not.

+1

would stop alot of bickering
#21
it wouldn't really. people would just start up another thread to have a go at those having a go in a thread they couldn't post in. the forum would be filled with retaliatory threads.

while I agree with an ignore thread option(not that people on here would exercise the self control to actually use it) you cannot limit who posts in a thread. It defeats the whole purpose of public forums.

Thats a really radical step for hear aint it!
Totally agree with the 'if you see something that you don't like, or something from someone you don't like, walk on by.'
but then again without all the bitchin and score settling posts there would be no threads.
How about if people stopped all the BS and started acting sensible rather than all the hate and grudges that seem to be happining hear all the time.
The amount of trolling and BS hear does get a lil tiresome at times and I can garuantee puts off alotta posters.
Banning people from your threads wouldnt work but having an ignore function that really worked would be a good idea.
