Plenty people sell more than 2 items of the same kind on here.

You did list it twice, but I'm all for a bit of Mod-bashing!

It would be okay if the OP had £30 made up of:

1x £15
1x £10
1x £5

As the three items are not identical.

But 3x £10 isn't allowed.

It's crazy I know, but thems are the rules :-D

I asked this very question before in an earlier feedback thread but never had a response - does seem a bit harsh/odd that vouchers upto a certain value cannot be sold as one lot, as midlandscomics points out, personally I think £30 worth of vouchers should be allowed and count as 1 item as long as the seller explicitly points out they will not split and sells the vouchers as 1 lot...

I can't see the problem if there sold in one lot either tbh. What difference does it make if someone is selling a £30 voucher or 3x £10 vouchers.

I remember when I worked in a shop about £10 years ago, if a customer wanted gift vouchers but didn't specify the exact vouchers they wanted, we were to finish off the books that only had a couple of vouchers left in first (i.e. use the last two £5 vouchers before issuing a £10 voucher). Although the OP is talking about online vouchers, so that might be why it's being trated differently

K I know I was stupid for relisting it but that's not what I was asking,I got a ban for relisting and I accepted that but surely locking my 1st thread cause of bulk selling is petty when it's clear that I was selling 1 set of vouchers!
And for the record my 1st thread was locked for bulk selling and not cause I posted it twice!

That's the whole point I clearly stated that it was for £30 and I would'nt sell them seperate.

Surely it aint against the rules if I'm selling £30 worth of vouchers, fair enough if I was selling 3 x £10 vouchers but I aint I'm selling £30 worth that just so happins will come in 3 different codes!
If it's that petty surely the 3 codes I'm selling are different anyways.
#14
And for the record ive bought £100 worth of vouchers hear twice before and those came in 10 x £10 codes never had a problem then, and just a few weeks ago I sold some vouchers and those were 8 x £4 no problem there either.

Exactley what I thou and is why I clearly stated it was for £30 worth of vouchers and wouldnt split.

Mods are Gods. When are you all gonna learn? Even wedgy seems to be muscling in on the pathetic rules front.

It's definatley the worst forum ive been on for not useing common sense.
Will a Mod actually answer my question if I make another thread after 7 days will it get locked again?
Not that im likely to bother anyways but it would be good if I got an answer.
Amazing how quick they are to give you infractions and bans over nothing but when you ask a question nobody seems to answer it.

Another question if I made a thread selling £20 worth of vouchers or £40 worth of vouchers will my thread get locked for relisting? even thou these will be different vouchers from the 1's I was originally selling?

If they are all different then you have a lot of Amazon vouchers  Original locking very harsh though :w00t: - but why mention 3*£10? Just put 1*£30 next time, and in my opinion the mods should completely delete those 2 threads, remove any infractions from you, and allow you to submit a FS thread for 1*20, 1*30 or 1*40 (or whatever it is that you have ).

Dude it aint bulk selling I just had some Amazon vouchers that I got for doing some surbeys, and for the record I have 3 x £10 vouchers that I was selling as £30 worth and fair enough I was stupid mentioning x 3 but thou I was best putting as much detail into the thread as possible.
And I do have another £20 voucher but don't know where I stand in selling these.
I actually only got the Amazon vouchers cause I needed some funds in my paypal account to buy something and thou Amazon Vouchers are usually easy to sell hear,I know cause ive bought them plenty times before from hear and never had any problems.
#22
Still no sign of an answer from a mod!
If I just started a new thread I bet id get noticed straight away.
banned#23
if you list it it will get locked, but if you need a mod answer then im sure one may pop in and let you know that, the fs rules state you cannot have two open threads for same item, even if you do have two of the same, so you will have to wait 7 days

Cheers for answering and I know I aint allowed 2 of the same threads open at the same time with the same items but ive still not had an answer from a mod to clarify why I got an infraction in the 1st place and I know I should'nt have relisted the item but I was'nt thinkin at the time and to be honest I thou it must be a joke locking a thread for something so petty.
Ive got £50 worth of Amazon Vouchers and would like to sell them but I would like an answer from a mod to clarify if thats possible or not.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The message you saw relating to selling a maximum of 2 vouchers would normally be the rule applied to prevent bulk sales. The actual reason recorded (i'll append this to the original thread) is for breach of rule 1 in the FS/FT rules relating to personal trading only.

(1) This is for personal trading and selling only. Multi user/connected accounts are NOT permitted in this forum. NO businesses, trader like, businesslike behaviour or services. NO bulk sales of more than two of the SAME items sold separately or together as a 'lot' within a three month period. NO linking to an external business, eBay/Amazon Marketplace store.

Completing surveys with the sole aim of receiving renumeration via a sale on here goes against the spirit of personal trading. Disposing of unwanted gifts would be fine, but by placing yourself in a position of completing surveys for payment effectively means personal gain.

Just to confirm, if you're not already aware. The infraction was handed out for your 2nd listing, which breached no relisting within 7 days rule.

Dude are you for real I'm now getting slated for how I got the vouchers now?
For the record I could have got cash for the said 'surveys' but I needed cash in my paypal hence why I tried to sell something ie Amazon Vouchers.
And I know I got banned for relisting and like ive said over and over again I realize that and I was stupid for doing so but you still hav'nt answered any of my questions!
Why did I get my original thread locked when I clearly stated I had vouchers for sale and not 3 seperate sets of vouchers?
And like ive asked before if I try to sell any amount of vouchers now or after 7 days will I get a ban?
I have learned 1 thing thou dont say anything specific in a sale or the mods will use anything against you to be petty.

K put simply I have £30 worth of vouchers id like to sell how would I go about it without getting my thread locked or banned?

Well you clearly cant now as its obvious where you got them from and in that theyre also 3x£10 as well...as youve already stated and proved her.

agreed! we got there in the end! :whistling:
#31
Easier to sell on the Bay,you will get nearly face value, fees are a pain though.
#32
OP,give it up you have been rumbled
#33
I can understand not being able to sell items on that were bought as deals on here but as far as vouchers goes, most people selling them have "acquired" them as the OP did by doing surveys or given as unwanted gifts.

Maybe vouchers shouldn't be allowed to be sold on here full stop as a person can't prove where they "acquired" them.
#34
So you cant sell vouchers that you get for doing surveys?

only it seems if you actually mention where and how you got the vouchers. keep schtum and you'll be fine but then when people now start to ask where the vouchers came from will that be classed as bumps.

I gave up before I even started I know how things go down hear so I didnt expect to get anywhere, but I just wanted things clarified cause it does'nt really make sense.
It's obvious there rules for some and rules for others and if your face doesnt fit you get nowhere hear.
As for being 'rumbled' what have I been rumbled doing? I still don't get what ive done thats so wrong?
All I wanted to do was sell £30 worth of Amazon Vouchers did'nt think there would be any problem since ive bought a few hundred pounds worth of vouchers on hear before without any problem.

lol I realize that now.
What is annoying thou is the trolls who wait on catching people out with petty and BS reasons.
I remember now why I stopped posting hear.
Btw thanx for posting a reasonable response rather than act like a troll like others do.

Thread closed. You've been given clarification and yet again these threads descend into misc like conversations.

Just for the record, any post in which a member asks a question, directly related to your listing, would never be classed as a bump, unless of course it's related to vague listings which relate to offers for items you're ot interested in.
