Infractions, suspensions and then a ban ......... the rules!

chessochesso

It occurred to me that although the infractions and points system (see post #2) is described in the FS/T rules, it doesn't seem to be in the Help thread nor in the Code of Conduct.
This means that members may not be cognisant of the sanctions which will be applied if they do wrong.
It may be that making the system more obvious and transparent, by having a thread about it in the Help section and incorporating it into the Code of Conduct, may reduce transgressions by acting as a deterrent and reduce fury in those not expecting to be infracted or suspended or indeed banned.
Anyway it seems to me that the information should be easier to access than it presently is.

The system according to rayman here:
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/475213/constant-suspensions/showpost.php?p=6241563&postcount=100

    Suspension tiers are as follows:

    Warning infraction = 0 points/no suspension
1 point full infraction = no suspension, the point is active for thirty days

All infractions are active for thirty days, if a two point infraction is received before the previous one has expired, it will increase by two points each time and will accumulate until a full ban is reached.

    2 points = a one day suspension
    4 points = a three day suspension
    6 points = a five day suspension
    8 points = a two week suspension
    10 points = a one month suspension
12 points = a full site ban or suspension

If a one or two point infraction is given at any time after all other infractions have expired, the sequence begins again at zero.

We can if deemed necessary, issue any of the above points tally in one go.

Please note that all infractions will now be active for 30 (thirty) days.

So...what you're saying is that members may not realise they will be infracted/suspended/banned for breaking the 'rules' or realise the consequences as such simply because the clarity and placement of the defined infraction points system isnt easily found? :?

Both - your post is clearer than mine but those are the points I was trying for.

Thanks for highlighting this, it's now been added to the 'Code Of Conduct' for clarity of what infractions result in.
