I have an iphone 3gs locked to vodaphone but I really want to use my contract t-mobile sim, is it possible to get it unlocked? would I have to contact vodaphone to do this, my local phone shop said they don't have the software to unlock this phone yet.
thanks in advance for any advice

    Hi if you have had the contract for more than 12 months and now finished then call Vodafone and for free they will unlock it.

    I brought this phone off ebay the seller said it was an insurance replacement if i contacted the seller would he be able to get it unlocked?
