dont think so!

I did something similar after a deal went sour with an absolute scumbag.
He left feedback saying that i posed a threat to him as an identity fraudster. I contacted MODS and they did nothing. The more i think about it the more i think its deformation of character and wholly unfounded.

I think you should get the opportunity to leave feeback in a 'window' that expires at the same time but that feedback is unreleased until the window has expired. That way it negates the opportunity for tit-for-tat retaliation.

That would encourage people to leave negs for fun though or for stupid things like not receiving the item the next day etc.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the FB system as it is, there is just the odd few who abuse it (retaliatory negs for example). There's not much you can do about it as no matter what they system is they'll find a way of abusing it.

I did make a suggestion before that every neg should automatically be flagged for review by a mod and they can then take appropriate action straight away. Removing the neg, banning the user, giving advice on how to proceed ect ect

That would be a sensible way of doing things!
