jdoqocy in the links breaks hotukd
Hi all,
Can we stop using jdoqocy (or other click for money link through sites)to hijack redirection? I have an ad blocking script that runs on my router and blocks all links to jdoqocy (for good reason) and other click through for cash sites. I think most of the users are unaware that they are racking up money for someone in regards to these redirections.....Its a PITA to copy and paste the link......
Thanks!

How much do you propose we should all pay per year for access to the site then, as obviously it has to be paid for somehow?
As for being unaware of the links, if in over 5 years you can't be arsed to read the about us page then thats your fault really.

It is free to voice your opinion, for the time being, though :)
Can you temporarily disable "ad blocking" in your router('s script) whilst using HotUKDeals.com, Herc?
Do you use Cashback sites (like Quidco, &/or TopCashback?
Would paying members that create threads be paid a commission of sales by "click-thru" links, or based on a percentage of "heat" gained per thread?
A unanimous decision then! ;)
Over to you HD...
so if everyone blocks the banners how exactly would the site earn income?
There could be links to competitions on Dealspwn.com sponsored by Zavvi.com, for instance.
Oh.
banner ads aren't a bad idea, if done correctly
they would be bad for the site as the income would drop massively
