Fantastic idea. I would love for this to happen. I would be a top poster and reader of this topic. Also a Training/Learning page.

In all honesty there's plenty of sites to advertise jobs, this site is for deals predominately, and freebies, vouchers etc, anything to save money on deals.

Maybe that might make some business owners on here advertise a fake job, in order for them to advertise their business on here, as if I'm correct you are not allowed to promote or advertise your own company on here, and having your business name on here is basically advertising your company world wide. Maybe that wouldn't happen, but business owners do like there company name to be out 'there'.

have to agree with dbhoy. jobs isn't quite relevant enough to what the site is about. also people would end up taking advantage.

It would be a "nice feature" but I don't think its needed or wanted to be honest.

There are many other wesbites for jobs and the main reason for HUKD is primary aim is to give super hot DEALS :D

Back in the day thats what the Jobcentre used to be for - advertising vacancies. Anyone else remember picking your little card off the stand and going to ask for an interview?
Now it should be called the Haven'tGotAJobcentre :(

aaaahh! job centre! the most useless employment agency ever created! that's why companies such as reed and job site have been able to have such a great impact on the UK!
just thought on hukd it would add a personal touch to the jobs advertised and users can share hints and tips on applying, the job etc.

Hi OP, this should be in the 'Feedback' section, not the 'Ask' section. I have reported this thread to be moved. :)

There is also the issue with the "Spamming" section of the "HUKD Forum Code of Conduct":

II. Spamming:

There is a zero tolerance to spam here. Anything that is deemed to be so will be removed with immediate effect and the spammer banned at the discretion of Admin and Moderators.

...* Self promotion of businesses and anyone involved with them, including staff, affiliate networks, marketing companies, SEO, PR etc, survey threads, post incentives, charity request threads made without prior permission, auction / marketplace sites (with the exception of those sellers approved by HUKD), personal sales elsewhere, links to personal websites, requests for referrals, referral links, third party affiliate links, advertising for personal gain and displaying of e-mail address in the forums is spam...

in our local area, some people have set up a facebook page specifically to advertise jobs or people wanting jobs and this seems to be working well as many will post up pics of jobs advertised in shop windows etc that dont usually get put on the jobsite, it also gets used by local companies when they have any vacancies. I would think thats a better way to go than have it on these pages.
