An equal degree of cunning & stealth, with just an element of cheek! :)

If the retailer had asked permission first that is one outcome, but I think we can probably guess what is going to happen next.

Well with our approval I guess that would be one thing and it is something we are looking at (well not with them). The important thing isn't the link so much as incentivising people to vote/submit or submitting it themselves.

So as long as they are not bribing people (offering them something) then its fine if they link directly to the submit form on HUKD?

I thought one of the computer dealers were banned (aria possibly?) for posting on their forums for people to post deals on here (ie self promo).
Not sure why this is any different?

They were banned for posting on this forum and posing as members initially, over and over and over again. When we eventually re-allowed them with strict terms to adhere to they then incentivised their forum members to post, offering a prize to the first one who did so. Not really the same thing.

We're looking into this, as Admin mentioned, we've not approved anything like this but it seems kikatek aren't incentivising on that page, it's not really any different to sharing deals to Facebook etc. We need to ask some questions in any case :)
