I can't remember, but it was Paul who mentioned it on the freebie forum.

If you use the direct image link when submitting a deal or freebie it does actually grab it - downsize it and use our server so we're not leeching bandwidth. If you're putting a link in a regular post it's probably best to use imageshack or something yeah.

http://www.photobucket.com is another good image hosting site.
