They always work for me without fail. so maybe you should say what browser and version you are using. I'm using firefox, lastest version.

Running on Firefox Firefox/3.6.8

ok steps are here:

1. Click on Submit Deal
2. Click on Hot Deal icon
3. Click _here_
4. Type merchant (Amazon)
5. Select Amazon UK
6. Observe, no direct link option

Also to note once deal has been posted, by going back to EDIT the Direct Link has appeared but can't be changed/edited

I get the link option immediately after clicking SUBMIT then DEAL

but when you select OFFLINE deal, then I get what Saxo gets and no option appears to enter a URL

the system blows hard!

We're going to be changing this in the near future so that the submit page is only one page and you don't have to select a merchant (we'll figure it out from the url given).

hopefully it will be as smotth and seemless as all the other "changes", by the way some people are still posting glitches and general bad workmanship of your "developers" in the main glitch thread. It'd be nice of you to maybe send a lackie in and quell some of the unrest.

Weird stuff in this post!

Its meant to link to this URL

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/forum/cd/discussion.html/ref=cm_cd_tp_ft_tft_tp?ie=UTF8&cdForum=FxTTQVPDOUZJZD&asin=B003T9W2WS&cdThread=Tx245YRL2U5Y2A4

But the system parses the html and adds a HUKD link which then scuppers the location. Scroll cursor over to view.

More information in this dedicated thread:

"[BUG]: Amazon.co.uk sub page hyperlink redirects back to home page"
