paperclip
is just me that gets annoyed by the minimum post length  ... for example when i just want to thank someone and i end up having to type "thank you ...."

i mean it surely has a good reason behind it, but i reckon you should make it a little shorter... unless someone can convince me otherwise!

Yes same here paperclip..I often just want a brief one word response...and nor beginning with F either!
#2
Yep,same here too.:santa:

On other forums people simply type filler.

eg:

Ta

fillerfiller
#20
ok .
#21
lol sorry just trying it out!
#22
That's ok :) It works!!
#23
i have another question.... should i start a new thread?
#24
Nah, go on ahead :)
#25
is it possible to resize a picture in a post once i've inserted it?
#26
Just edit your post using the edit button. http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/edit.gif

Imageshackhas a handy resizing feature, you just use the URL that was generated before and paste it into imageshack after you click the URL checkbutton, and select a different size. Then click upload.

Hope you can understand that?
#27
lol yeah i get that but say i'm posting a pic from another website

eg. http://funnyartpictures.com/funnypictures-images/top-funny-car-search.jpg

is it possible to insert a tag to specify a size or a scale to make it smaller?
#28
Just go through imageshack like I said before. There's nothing that can be done from the HUKD end.

e.g.

:)
#29
k thats fine!

that takes ages !! means you have to uploads and sign up...i like using the websites images/link- makes life simple :)
#31
It took about 20 seconds ... ? You don't need an imageshack account or anything :?
#32
Imageshack is great. Very quick and easy. I have the firsfox extension installed, so I can simply right click on an image in FF, click on "upload to imageshack" and it'll give me the new image link in a new window. I also have the IE toolbar, where you click and drag to it, and there's on for windows which adds it so if you right click on an image on your PC it gives you the option of uploading to imageshack.

So easy!! How did I ever live without it??

#33
Yeah, I'm using the imageshack toolbar in IE7. I love it :)
#34
I liked imageshack but have been plagued by ridiculously long waits getting on the site so have started using http://xs.to again
#35
Yeah, I sometimes do. It's just the ease of being able to load images directly from other sites and the internet without having to put them on your PC then browse for them.
#36
The :viking: smiley also makes for some good filler!! :giggle:
#37
Photobucket never seems slow when I use it. ImageShack is always slow these days :)
#38
there are loads of ways round a minimum post length. It's set cut out spamming I suppose, and we can all say thank you by leaving rep and voting hot !!
