yep according to andy wedge it's mod discretion and always had been. I always thought even wanted threads resulted in both threads being locked and no relisting for 7 days, apparently not.

Bit of miss mash that one, I know the thread in question today would of been locked usually, it just seems every senior mod seems to be away and the FS/FT are nowhere to be seen.

yep that thread is a weird one. It was originally in fs/ft then moved to misc. then the op opened another thread in fs/ft asking for it which was removed by andywedge and the threrad in misc allowed to remain.
You can certainly tell when asb is not around.

I think if it starts getting out of control then they will be stopped completely as it can be a way of getting interest or even selling an item without naming a price.

When the rules were updated a few grey areas were highlighted in the thread(copyrighted material, voucher codes and a couple of others) and ASB said that they were going to be reworded....whatever happened with this?

Measurements of what you class as getting out of control? as simple rule, yes or no added to the rules means people have to abide by them, not sure why it's so much effort to do so? It has been the rule for a long time but no reference is made in the rules for FS/FT now.

Simply just put under that rule "this includes threads in misc asking for a price check".

Voucher codes was added, though someones view on simply views is clearly different from the users views.

isn't that why the 7 day rule has been in place or was I imagining telling people this rule and mods on the thread confirming it up until the last few days.

Trying to keep things nice and simple, we made a few insertions in the prohibited items list to cover the concerns raised.

It's always been intended that valuation rules were subject to the same 'relist' requirements. It was an error on my part, however now rectified. Like many of the regulars, I had taken if for granted that the rules were still fairly clear on that part.

Did you have anything in mind or care to elaborate further. I'm sure we can address any issues that remain outstanding.

Views on this asb don't think it has to be complicated as it isn't clear in the rules.

Sticky for fs/ft seems to have catched admins attention

Nothing aimed at you and your position ASB you do a fantastic job keeping The fs/ft running and keeping it clear of the bad apples and such ......

It's When your not around things go horribly wrong in fs/ft where it isn't modded enough and all the bad apples get through on the Market......

I and No one expects you to be on 24/7 Moderating the fs/ft and keeping it fresh from the rotten apples

It does seem more and more bad threads are going amiss recently some being left there for for a comsiderable amount of time until they are removed

This is where I think and quite possibly others feel the same there should be another moderator of your calibre moderating the fs/ft when you are not around

The rules definaltly need rectified and made alot clearer on what can be done an cannot on fs/ft
There's threads getting past the rules at times due to the rules being relaxed.
