  I would imagine that the deal has to pass 500 for you to receive this badge. From the description page:

  We process badge generation at the end of every day, and it's set to calculate "Greater than" rather than "greater than or equal to" for this badge. So it looks like (in this rather extreme edge case) that the badge will have not been earned (as your deal is sitting at exactly 500 degrees). Sorry! :(

  Yeah, I'm missing a badge too! I'm missing the "Heatwave" badge.. I've posted 4 deals.. with a combined heat of 3,153. Leaving an average heat of 788.25.. slightly more than the 200 that the badge asks for :3

  If the average deal temperature for all your deals is more than 200 degrees for 30 days, you will earn the heatwave badge. This is a tough badge to get... many deals don't last this long. Good luck!

  It comes and goes. Unless you constantly have deals over the 200 degree threshold you will lose it.
