Maybe the same way you were advised by DevelopmentTeam 6 months ago:

"Mobile Section - Filter By Merchant"

Thanks, I had actually lost that thread!!

But I just mean that you can't search for & on the mobile site so how would anyone find b&q deAls on the mobile site.

Sorry I didn't realise you meant you couldn't use an ampersand character.

Thanks Phil. I though it may just be me!

I have had over 30 'Likes' in the last two days & only one notification.

I also am seeing an increase in "Bolded" threads in my Profile but finding the last comment was my own.

31 'Likes' & 2 notifications now :)

I just got your notification.
Don't know which one though.

It brought me to this thread, but not an individual post like it used to in the olden days.

I suspect it was the second (on comment #9) as I 'Liked' comment #4 over an hour ago.

Bigger issues ongoing at present though... [ http://www.hotukdeals.com/feedback/404-error-every-forum/988764 ]
Just had two separate notifications from HeroDeveloper.

(Comment #17 in the thread I referenced previously, & then Comment #11 above)

However, I did not see a notification for comment #17 from Syzable.

The notifications brought you directly to the post though, in this instance?

Oh, and I'm still getting this thread bolded, even if it was me who posted in it.

I've put this in the queue.

Yes. Both notifications dropped me at the appropriate comment in the designated thread.

(Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18)
4 'Likes' on Comment #17 now; only one 'banner' notification (so far).
PS. Don't forget to address gary_rip's original purpose for starting the thread! :)
Do you regularly "log out", Phil?

I don't log out at all. I wonder if that has some relevance.
After I submitted comment #21, I went back to the "Feedback" forum summary view & saw...

"Jumpingphil likes your comment"

This linked to [ http://www.hotukdeals.com/feedback/404-error-every-forum/988764?p=11871212 ] & upon clicking dropped me to the correct comment in that thread.
I didn't get a notification message for 'Jumpingphil' liking comment #17 in the same thread as I must have been viewing the thread when Phil applied the 'Like'.

I could see "4 people like this comment" but when that text was clicked 5 member names were shown (the last of which was Phil's).
Sorry, should have said "Just come back on".

Don't remember EVER loggin out.
Should I?

I thought that may have had some bearing on your issue, but it seems not.
I rarely purposely log-out from my own laptop except if I have used the site on my mobile handset & when I return home I find I have been logged-out automatically.

When using the site in MS-Internet Explorer 7 on a PC that is not mine, however, I have found that clicking the "... likes your comment" notification links only places me at the top of the corresponding thread.

After returning home (& using Mozilla Firefox again) I do not see that issue at all.
The like link only took me to the top of the thread.
I can also remember when you could link to a specific post number (#).
Your link also only takes me to the top of the thread.

I had that problem just over a month ago (also using MS-Internet Explorer, although version, & on the web browser on my Android-based mobile telephone, version 2.3.3).

Two different methods of access to the same comment (#9):

of this thread:

I am going to guess that the middle link (the second to comment #9) will not work (just show the top of the thread) & this may also be "due to the URL being constructed in an inconsistent manner" as mentioned by HeroDeveloper in comment #30 in your previous thread:

(This may also take you just to the top of the thread)

Nicely taking over my thread! Start your own!
Nicely taking over my thread! Start your own!

We have, a few times now.

Only the most recent Feedback threads seem to gain any interest.

The single "Bug" thread was a much better idea :)

(I've also tried to bring this thread back to your oriignal topic point already)
