Brought this up loads of times, mods are too stupid to do anything about it.

it may not be the mods that are being stupid, maybe it's us (the seller), we should take a leaf out of the other sellers book and list everything singularly. oO

No lets be fair, the mods are really really stupid.

It's because admin still bums fo.lk to death, and it makes it look popular.

Waste of time, its the same handful of selfish sellers, supposed to have been up for review but nothing has been heard since....

I even tried to bribe one last week as i wanted to list a couple of things myself....the answer shows their mentality

Seen to many of these threads now, Nothing will be done nothing ever gets done about this

Iv put a fs thread up recently within 10mins its on page 2 sometimes 3 because of this,

Bumping is a waste of time now for the same reason,

Stopped using fs/ft for this reason

Mods,

Can we assume that nothing is ever going to be done with regard to this.

A simple yes or no will suffice

Thanks

allowing members to spam the boards with unlimited threads is about the only way to make folk seem like a success (giving away ipads and the shambolic tshirt comp never worked) so even with almost universal (for feedback anyway) approval for something to be done nothing will be done.

10 more threads by one user just been bumped.

I find it annoying........the way i've worked round it is to filter by new only now and email subscribe to any i post in.

Not ideal but the only solution i've found for browsing.

However as per the the actual issue.....it is unfair on other sellers.

I remember only about... a year ago, the FS forum was full of decent gear, nice mix, some I was interested in, some I wasn't, but good quality gear at good prices. Literally everytime I logged on, I'd check through and usually have to fight not to spend more money.

Now its too much effort, too much crap rejected by oxfam, and single item clothes threads filling it.

Ditch fo.lk, put sensible rules back in place.

and again.

I posted in a thread 5 mins ago and it is now on the 2nd page. Could a mod explain how it is fair that one user can push so many other threads off the front page so quickly?

to be fair though they have done nothing wrong. I do wonder if someone had the same amount of threads selling mobiles, dvds or console stuff than some of the kids clothes sellers then they'd almost certainly be classed as a trader.

Any final decision on this mods?
[mod]#16
Whilst contemplating a decision on this. Should not having P&P prices from the start constitute bumps on threads as it's not hard to put the prices up from the beginning. Fair does if it's combining more than 1 but threads with repeated 'how much is P&P?' and then a answer however long later it comes just keeps knocking legitimate threads down where people have actually thought things through.

Before anyone mentions the difference between 1st and 2nd class being the reason why.......it's only about 12p difference so hardly a deal breaker.

Nothing wrong with that imo (as far as not lisiting postage costs)..... if selling more than one item, postage is going to vary depending on how many things the buyer wants. If I listed five things including postage and someone wants to buy three of them I've still got to reply with a 'combined postage' price - it's no different really.

I think Sy's point was more to do with someone selling one item, and then saying price excludes postage.
