it'll be to do with how much rep you have. the more rep, the more voting power you'll have
#2
as above ....you don't seem to have much rep, also if someone votes hot at the same time as you vote cold it cancels itself out.
#3
Also over people will be voting at the same time. So if you vote cold then they vote hot it will change it

Nothing to do with rep, when i joined my votes changed temperature by 3%, now 1% which doesnt even hold, it reverts when i refresh, i am fully aware others vote, but i specifically chose 20 which were static for a short while, i refresh the screen over and over, and it doesnt move, i vote it goes up 1%, i refresh and its back to what it was before i voted, and 10 refreshes and 5 mins and still stays at this original value...

I have a feeling it is deliberate, happened when a few of my posts were removed at the start when i joined, if so, you may as well remove this account, i wont be part of a biased doctored website, i havent really done anything wrong, i lost my rag once, but not abused voting or anything like that, in fact i seldom vote at all

It's just the caching. The temp change you see immediately is accurate it's just not updated in the public view yet so when you refresh your page it's not showing yet.
