since you have zero feedback people will expect you to do this yes

take a few group shots with the required info instead, people might want a close up of certain items though
The photos are only so people can see that you have possession of the items

Hi Member,

We like to ensure a safe trading environment for all our members. It shouldn't be too much of an effort to provide the info I've quoted in the rule below. Seems a good idea to take a group photo and perhaps better images of 'valuable' items.

For the reasons stated above, we like to ensure items are in the possession of the member, hence the requirement to date and sign if requested. As for being a new member you're more than likely to be prompted by other members or one of the mods to provide pics. The demand may ease of if you're a trusted member, however I'd always expect valuable items to have photographic proof. We don't want the threads bumped unnecessarily with pic requests when it could/should have been anticipated.

If in any doubt, it's better to give us a shout. One of the team will be happy to assist.

(5) Please Post Images (click for details) including a piece of paper with your user name and date next to the actual items for sale. This helps your sale or trade by showing the condition, establishing validity and also that you have the items in your possession. If you post an eBay image or are unable to post any images, we may pull the listing immediately to request further information.

Whats the deal with members with solar flair status, is it like a license to sell items and just grab a pic from google images?

Maybe it is, a lot seem t do it while the rest of us stick to the rule, surely it shouldnt be one rule for us and another for the upper class (or so a lot would like to think)

The above isnt a digg at anybody, just i notice it over and over and its always when the member hit the solar flair status

i think its more on the feedback of the member not the status if you see a member has loads and loads of fb and they selling a bn item somtimes they do just list a photo of the item from the net since its new in box it will be exact the same, i dont think this happens too often and when its a used item people like to see a real photo so doubt it happens very often in that case, but i do think its based on feedback more than anything else

Regardless, it should be the same rule for everyone, good people do turn bad on forums, ive seen it happen dozens of times over the years, with todays technology i see no excuse for anyone not posting pictures (mobile phones, webcams, digital cameras, even my technophobe of a mum owns all 3), its just plain laziness

it is one rule for all you do need to put a picture no one on here is higher or better than any other member....
but what im saying if i see a member with say 150fb and they list a bn item i wouldnt mind not seeing a picture i would trust them and take there word for it, but if they have 3 feedback for example i would want a picture, you seemed to say it was once they on solar flare i was saying its more likely based on the fb of the member.
the mods would say for safe trading always see a pic but as a buyer i personally would be ok based on fb and i think thats what a few other members think like hence things getting sold with no picture

if your not happy you can always report the thread or not buy it :)
