I don't have an issue naming and shaming where there is a clear forum link to an earlier ID.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/tag/xxxbannedxxx

I use that tag as and when appropriate.

Most of the time it's irrelevant if the secondary ID has been used to avoid rogue trades, as ultimately the initial account will face the same action. However I do appreciate the fact that members do exchange details for direct communications (when they have failed to follow the Trading Advice) so if we have clear links at hand, we'll publish them.

So you are tagging the deals set up by multis in the FS/T and that is good.
Multis are all over the place though, not just trying shonky deals.
Is there any other way to tell who has multiple 'personnas'?

My interest in in Trading Multi's that can be identified by leaving a public trail.

As for the other multi's - I guess most are harmless and it's just a case of curiousity and wanting to know, just for the sake of it ?

However if any member has valid concerns, then of course we'd be more than happy to review and action as appropriate.

Some of that, of course ( I don't seem to be able to bold + italic!!) but also they are irritating; starting ludicrous threads and generally attention seeking, damaging the harmony of misc (no sarcasm intended!) , making stupid comments in deals that put off OPs from posting again. They may be harmless per se but they may also actually damage the core HUKD activity - deals!

Many might say that they are indistinguishable from a huge number of other members, but at least those other members are just one each.

This is just from my point of view as FS/T is a forum that I never use so the multis there are a different breed, maybe - scammers rather than disrupters/annoyers.

Just some of my thoughts!!

(Bold & Italic text concurrently has not been possible since the recent site re-design)

Whenever I see this activity (in my own threads, or those started by another member) I report the comment & advise that I believe the comment to be that of a "multi id".

The Moderators have so far not disappointed with the removal of the offending remarks.

BFN,

I see what you are saying fp but the multi still stays 'unexposed' in your scenario, although it is exactly what I do!

I see that there are threads by a banned member today in feedback. Would it be useful to tag these with the xxxbannedxxx as well?

If they had traded under the new id, yes.

On this occasion, (if it's the Sarah.... one I'm thinking about) the multi id has been terminated and of no significance.
