i feel for you. i bought some stickers from a seller. took over a month to arrive and automated messages, paypal claims. I wont to leave neg feed back for over a month delivery but looking at everyone who complains he leaves neg feedback for as well.

so i got to just ignore him.

but contact ebay they do a mutual negative feedback removal

yes that is correct, negative feedback can only be removed by mutual agreement even if they are in the wrong. i have contacted ebay about this in the past and they offer no help. so its entirely up to the other party.

i have to say i am fed up with rubbish sellers on ebay. i think they should change the rules on ebay feedback so that the seller has to leave feedback first, before the buyer can do so. time after time i buy something, uphold my end of the bargain by paying promptly, but the seller waits for my positive feedback before they leave you any. this is just plainly wrong! it means that i am afraid to leave any neg feedback at all as i dont want to ruin my record.

any thoughts?

I do see your point but as someone who has both bought stuff and sold stuff on ebay that situation is open to just as much abuse as the current one.I have sold a dvd that was sealed and new but received an email from the buyer telling me that the disc was faulty as it wouldn't play on her machine.I told her to return it and then checked it on my machine where is played perfectly. This appeared to be a case of the buyer watching the film and then trying it on for a refund.I think there are people who will abuse the system whatever and no way seems fairer ultimately than the other.Just by buying or selling you are leaving yourself open to a bad experience and unfair negative feedback.I have also had bad experiences with sellers but try to be careful and read their feedback before a purchase.

I think we just have to accept that it happens ~most people are inherently honest but there is always one or two that are not!!.
It is frustrating and really annoying,I know from personal experience.
Either that or don't buy from auction sites but I enjoy it so have decided not to let one or two bad things sour my otherwise enjoyable bidding wars!!:)
