They are a bit selective in what they allow. Dealextreme is allowed, Focalprice isn't. Both are HK sites, both sell similar items.

I think the official line is that only foreign sites with sufficient positive feedback from members are allowed......I don't think there is an official list, it tends to be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Thanks for letting me know. Is there a certain referral route we can use to let the admin know that we would like them to judge whether or not a website should be approved?

Unlikely to be significant for me personally since the deals I have tended to find are UK-based, but useful info just in case I see another deal from what I think is a reputable non-UK site.

Use the Contact Us link to ask Admin directly for clarity :)

You can always start a thread in "Misc" asking for feedback on a company whether it be a UK site or not.

If the feedback is good over a sustained period, it may sway HUKD towards allowing them to be listed as a merchant.

OK, thanks for the advice everyone.

Amazon Germany deals allowed too, they don't even take sterling .... remembering the amazing 360 HD drive for £13 :)

Hi never heard of focalprice but use dealextreme quite a bit, and they seem to have some good stuff are they any good?

Thanks for the advice from the members here, it's pretty much spot on.

Just want to point out the reason it was in the merchant list - sounds like a member posted a deal for them in the past, it was spammed, but we haven't had a chance to delete the new merchant yet. Thanks :)
