Odd behaviour of website using Chrome 19 on Win 7
Using Chrome has become a nightmare with this site - this is happening on my PC at work (32 xp) and at home (54 bit win 7). Everything i click on takes me to the new page for about a second and then reverts back to the previous page. I then click once more to get the new page and it takes me there successfully. This is happening with swapping between categories, new and most discussed, and the page numbers for comments.

Jump to unread Post a CommentI hit the hukd logo and the main page loads, a split second later the original computers/deals/new page is displayed instead.
At this point the network tab under Chrome's Developer tools lists the following;
login post
new /computers/deals https://www.hotukdeals.com/login redirect
then a whole load of stylesheets etc.
It hasn't always been the case, only in the last couple of days.
Check for updates to your browser as I know Google rolled out new updates recently.

It's been happening to me on Chrome, but I'm on XP for the last 2 days and is driving me mad :(
When I click on a page it goes to the page for a second and then reverts to the original page. If you click again on the page or hit click to go back it goes then to the page I was wanting!!

Tried and still has the problem :(
"WHY does this site auto-refresh pages?????"
Also, do you have any Extensions installed within your Chrome browser?

Goo.gl URL Shortner
Google Reader Readable
Google Translate
LastPass

Well out of your list I'm using
AdBlock,
LastPass
Anyone else suffering and using these extensions?
Thing now is, what do I use more, this site or LastPass?
Alternatively, as "LastPass for Google Chrome" is the only extension (noted, so far) that is incompatible with HotUKDeals.com, perhaps you could (also) raise a Support Ticket with LastPass:

So, to resolve this you think HotUKDeals.com should implement an individual member Profile setting to indicate whether the pages should auto-refresh, or not?
I'm not noticing it on other sites though, only HotUkDeals.
As a workaround, disable the extension when using this site.
