Option to switch back to the old site design disappeared

Adding "?tsv=2011-09" to the end of a url without the quotes seems to work but the link at the top of the screen to switch back was more convenient.

What was the point of the feedback thread if you are ignoring all of the negative feedback and pushing through a design which is worse than the old one (can't fit all forums on the page, increased navigation time by hiding the topics in a drop-down list etc...)?

yep - much prefer the old skin - less clicks to get to the forum you want

can we have this as an option in our profile - old or new skin

not so happy having the new skin "enforced" afterall this is a community forum I thought

To get feedback on problems with the header or ideas for improvement. Reverting back to the old design was not the point of feedback whether you prefer it or not. As such you have the option to keep the old header if that's your feedback.

Adding "?tsv=2011-09" does not appear to work now - at least with FireFox

please explain how to use teh old skin?

I have to agree with the others. The option to revert back should stay on the first page and/or be in your settings. I do not cause much trouble here and i try to help people when i can and needed and others CBA, but i am def moaning about this, the new design is total rubbish, so out of interest what is the reason of making this site look cheap and rubbish with poor navigation skills?

Im with the others you made it easier for tablets/mobile devices but made it alot harder to navigate for your main populus the PC user.

Leave the link to revert back or take what critiscm people have posted about your new skin design and get it fixed by user request.

Really is the new skin better on tablets then the old skin? maybe i should buy one just to go on HUKD as i am on here all the time, but will be coming on less and less while the skin is forced on us

I dont think you are doing that, cos some people will never see this thread to know how to turn it back to the old site, give people the option somewhere to change it back themselfs, even if its jsut having "To go to the GOOD page add "?tsv=2011-09" to the end of the hotukdeals.com link". It reminds me of doing history at school learning about the 1,000,000 odd turkish people who were Christian that were told "you know you live here, well you have to move to Greece or Die" and the same amount of Muslims that were told the same to go the other way from greece, its an option but not one people like but you have to do it cos you like the ethos of the site or to live or die which ever you want to think...... When to be honest if they had kept the people living where they are both those counties would probally be better off now as there would be better integration, oh well long live the fascists.

Disclamer I am not trying to compare you to fascists who impose the minorities views on others just cos they want to ;)

Out of interest what are the good reasons to use the new skin as i cant find one, apart from it making the mods jobs easier as there will not be as many people that need moderating??

Bit annoyed, tried the new skin, didn't like it so continued to use the old one. Just come online and now am being forced to use the new one, which looks terrible. Hopefully the link above works!!

Edit: Link does work, old design is far superior, the text looks normal unlike the new one which looks like it is for blind people!
