The clothing needs to be sorted. Only one that really is a bit to much. Hopefully a new structure will come in soon to sort this out.

It's like a jumble sale atm.

It's a matter of perception. If it was all the latest gadgets or even retro items, all we would face is a different complaint group.

Till we revamp, it's worthwhile using the custom tab to sort this out(assuming properly categorised).

They do seem to generate a lots of interest both ways, seems like a good service.

However we do get the point that is being made by the OP, and likewise we hope they understand our present position.

Do we have any timescale on these new improvements on the *hush *hush*.

We live with what we have. Thanks for the quick responses.

The category of the items being sold is irrelevant, if you've got 10 jumpers or 10 iPods to sell then it would make everyone's life easier to put them in one post, especially for the people who are not interested in that particular category.

If there's a revamp underway then I guess I can bare with it for a while longer :D

But if I had an iPod nano, an ipod mini, an ipod video, an ipod original, an ipod touch and an iphone that wouldn't be breaking rules. I would put them all in one post, rather than 6 individuals...

Anyway, point is moot, roll on the site update

just felt the need to bump this thread.

what are the mods or general HUKD users view on this.

There are unnecessarily too many threads in the fs/ft section for clothes, nothing against clothes being sold but, its the same user(s) starting a new thread for each item of clothing, if that is acceptable, can i post 10 threads for each of 10 games i might want to sell?

I don't see why not. If users are allowed to start a new thread for every piece of clothing they sell then that must also apply if you wanted sell a single dvd or game in a new thread.

i think when i have some games or DVDs to sell I'll try that, see how the mods react, cos they are clearly ignoring it with clothes.

complete and utter joke....most of them are relist after relist after relist...surely mods could have a polite word to group items together as a courtesy to tother users

they don't want to know, all they keep saying is use folk or exclude the category from viewing completely ignoring the fact it pushes other users in the same category threads down.

it is taking the proverbial and I couldn't see a list of indiviuals games or dvds to be allowed to be listed in that way.

here we go again...a page full

i know just seen, it really aint fair on others, and i enjoy looking through the clothes so why would i put clothes on exclude, but still think its unfair
#20
You can't even exclude them, it doesn't work in the forsale section, if you do show all but clothes it says no items available.

"Sorry. No matches found.
Please try changing your filter options and searching again. "

That is set to show everything but kids and clothes.

Never noticed this thread but it's something I've noticed before and have meant to have a good old moan about in here. I've reported instances of it in the past and was surprised that nothing was done about it. There was one person a couple of weeks back who bumped about thirteen or fourteen individual threads all at the same time and forced every other listing down, which seems really unfair to me. I personally also can't see why there can't just be one thread for a bunch of clothes. Alas, if it's a problem I'm sure something will be done eventually.
#22
You can exclude clothes from FS if you wish, but what happens when it happens with DVD's, and Games, and other stuff?
banned#23
Wouldn't it be common sense to put them all in one thread?
I have to agree with everyone, I am fairly new here and like to look through the FS section, but I have to go through a lot of the same items from the same user before I can actually find something useful. It clogs up other users items and doesn't seem fair.

Its happened again, the whole of the front page dominated by one person listing one item at a time when the lot could of been put in one or two threads

My partner sells on here, not so long ago she listed a bundle of baby clothes (around 100 items, in one thread), its daft she could of listed the lot in multiple threads making a 100 threads and this would be allowed, where does it stop? most forums i know of only allow a couple of FS threads at a time in any one section, maybe its time HUKD should introduce the rule!

yep and no doubt its the same person adding pics 20 odd miutes later, giving them another 300 bumps

and you have just brought to the attention of the mods that both you and your partner are using the fs boards, this is against forum rules

yep that user posted 29 threads within the space of an hour...many without immediate pic addition...all low price sales as well

i have reported that trader and asked a mod to look into it, to bump a thread continually to add pics should be seen as bumps, so thats the 3 gone on that one, and seems to be doing the same in most
