2. No login boxes / text in the top navigation bar, no login / register links.
3. When navigating the mobile site - end back on the homepage (HTC desire using Dolphin HD broswer) and limited to viewing posts

Std Viewing issue : I was viewing the 'Standard' site [on my iPhone 3GS with OS 4.0 (8A293)] within the standard iPhone browser & clicked the "Mobile" link at the bottom of the first page of deals. The 'Mobile' version of the page (with additional results, as expected) was displayed correctly. However, I cannot return to the 'Standard' view. The link does not appear to do anything apart from refreshing the list already shown.
5. No recent activity box (std page) [Blackberry 9700]
6. Comment box has no outline and you can't use italics, bold etc
7. Sometimes when posting comments, they don't get posted, instead end up back to deals part of site.
8. Once logged in - no access to settings/profiles/ messages (HTC Desire)
9. Logs out of the pc if log in via phone and vice versa.
10. Android HDUK App no longer works (Force Close)
11.Scorchio! the android app only "Top Deals" works, everything else gives a force close.
12.My facebook app CompareTheHotDeal is broken as due to the new change in url.

It's possibly related to clicking on the next button both at a forum and thread level but I can't access enough of the site to verify this!
Edit: In fact, I no longer seem to be able to find a thread with a next button to check this - even threads I know have hundreds of pages only show the first with no hint of further posts.
These bugs are replicated if I view the mobile site on my laptop using firefox or IE so unlikely browser specific

You can see the same issue from the 'Standard' version on a desktop PC (whilst logged-in; I have not checked whilst logged out).

There is no recenty activity box on the right
The comment box at the bottom is just white there is no outline so you know where to post and no options to make the post bold, italic etc
Sometimes comments are not getting posted and it throws me back to the deals part of the site

If it wasnt broke why fix it? I haven't found any improvements yet.

When accessing hotukdeals (standard) site on iPod touch I am frequently told I am not logged in.Although I can enter my username and password at the top of the page ,the login button to send it is not there.
I can log in using the login link at the bottom of the page but when I do so it tells me I am already logged in!.
Also 'edit post' doesn't work.

The same is true on an iPhone screen, h'.
I often press & hold somewhere in the text & then move my finger upwards (whilst still pressing the screen) to scroll the text (very slowly) to the front of the message text. I have the same issue on every World Wide Wait forum-based site with comment text-boxes.
It isn't necessarily an issue created by the new site redesign, though; but worthy of note all the same.
(I'm typing from a conventional PC now, but) I've just checked the [Emoticons] issue you mentioned & can confirm that on my iPhone 3GS [OS 4.0 (8A293)] using the standard browser installed as new with the handset the "smiley" characters are not displayed in the "overlay" when the drop-down arrow is pressed either.
If you are having problems with your iPad feel free to send it to me to 'test' it for you! ;)
PS. Logging-in on my iPhone logged me out of my PC session. That did not happen previously either.
